In the Midst of Monsoons
Well, we are finally having gorgeous down pours on a daily basis here in Tucson. I’m loving it. But man, did we suffer through some hell -type temps to get to this point. My tomatoes are loving the rain too. However, the cantaloupe is a wash. Not one fruit. And I have decided it’s not the heat that affected them. Melons love heat! I believe it’s the lack of bees for pollination. The past three years I have noticed less and less bees. And I am sad about that. So I got to thinking about raising bees in my back…

We are almost half way through August and that means I need to get serious about building inventory for the upcoming fall shows. I will be offering one more month of classes for September, then change gears and will focus on fall and holiday sales. My September Classes will begin Tuesday,Sept. 2 for 4 weeks. Another couple weeks and school will be let out for the summer.
