Now that fall has arrived, I have embraced it by lighting a Pumpkin Spice candle every morning while I pray, journal and meditate upon Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith”. It’s what gets me through the day.

The harvest season is a time to give thanks daily, although I try to do this in all seasons, this particular time for me is special. The cooler air in the morning invigorates me to walk or garden and the evenings are a perfect temperature for patio dinners.

As my last blog indicated, there is a change in the atmosphere. I am focusing on art gifts to offer for the holiday season annnnnnd I am in a new gallery! I just got into the Karen Newby Gallery in Tubac! Yea!, I am back in Tubac and I’m so excited. I have a selection of pottery vases and some mosaic wall pieces there with more to come. Tubac is such a charming art destination and I love going there with a friend or two to browse the shops and galleries.

I am no longer in the Jane Hamilton Gallery. But you can find my ceramic gift items on the n/w side of Tucson, Tohono Chul Park La Fuente Gift Shop and on the east side, Desert Artisans Gallery . And you can always order on my website or Etsy shop.

Speaking of patio dinners and prepping for the holidays…I have just finished a batch of 12 Terra Cotta Kachina luminarias/ candle covers. They would go perfect on a patio table or a fireplace hearth or even in the garden. You can light a small tea light, a battery operated candle, or even wire them for electric light. Contact me for a purchase, a preorder or a custom order. I will be making another batch and will be available at the November and December art shows. These are only available during this season.
