I have a new little venture. I decided to enter 3 of my canvas paintings into a juried art show. All three were accepted. I am participating in the spring 2013 Tucson Artists Open Studio Tour in 2 Days.   This weekend, April 13 & 14, Saturday and Sunday from 11-5 each day, I will be opening my studio and artsy yard to visitors.  You will see how my little piece of outdoors inspires me to make art for the garden or yard.   You are invited.   I will be setting up a kids activity table for those that would like to bring along their kids.  It will be fun and interactive.  I will also do a grouting demonstration as well.  Just follow…

I am so excited about this coming season.  Fall!  It’s finally here and I am busy making inventory as fast as I can.   I spent the summer building stock and all of that went into galleries: Tucson Botanical Gardens Gift Shop,  Tucson Museum of Art Gift Shop and Mas Y  Mas. (More about the galleries later),   I am  producing more art pieces and my creativity is exploding.  I have been planning my booth design, making mental notes of the items I will need to  maximize the space. I look forward to being in the atmosphere of artists ready to put a smile on their faces and sell.    To an artist,  a  sale is a validation…
