Shipping Policy

Payment in full is expected when purchasing something in the shop, including custom orders. All prices include tax. Shipping is solely the responsibility of the buyer. You may cancel your order up to 6 hours after purchase.
All shipments go ground unless specified in writing and agreed upon by both buyer and seller. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. All shipments are carefully and properly packed and insured. I have 30 years experience in shipping ceramics. I will absolutely do my best to get your pieces to you as safely as possible.
If buyer receives a damaged item, report it to me immediately and to the shipping company. In order to be reimbursed or credited, keep all original packing materials (to be inspected by shipping company)…this is a must. NO Exceptions. Please make sure your ship – to address is correct. I am not responsible for incorrect addresses.
Most packages ship USPS and large packages ship UPS.
If ordering during the holidays I highly recommend signing (extra charge) to receive your package.  Any packages left on porches and come up missing are not covered under the insurance for normal shipment.
If you would like a note included, notify me along with any other instructions. Your gift note will be sent word for word, so if you want your name included, please be sure that it is part of the message you leave for me.
If a made-to-order or custom item is purchased along with in-stock items, the whole order will not be shipped until the made-to-order items are complete, unless you make other arrangements with me. Please check titles and descriptions carefully.
If you are unsure of the estimated production time for your order, please ask. Production estimates are generally from between 4-12 weeks depending on the order. Please communicate any deadlines you may have, even if they fall beyond the estimated delivery, as there are sometimes production delays beyond my control.
