Being Busy, Fall Fun and Show Schedule

I have been really focused.  Pushing myself to get inventory built up, marketing, writing a business plan (or I keep thinking about that one, haven’t quite got to it yet), relearning how to follow a budget, while juggling small jobs here and there until the holiday buying season  kicks in.  But I have managed to mix business with pleasure and took a jaunt to Sedona a couple weeks ago with a friend.  I just love it up there.  It’s so inspiring.   The rocks, the sunsets, the art!  I am so grateful to be able to take it all in….

2013 Spring Art Show Schedules

Here is a schedule of shows I will be participating in this spring season. Rodeo Days Arts Celebration Downtown Saturday, February 23rd from 11-8 at the Historic Steinfeld Building 101 W. 6th street, Tucson, Az Tucson Museum of Art Spring Show 3 day show, March 15, 16, 17, 9-5 each day. Downtown Tucson, 140 N. Main St. Tucson City Wide Open Studio Tour Saturday and Sunday April 13 & 14 11-5 each day 556 E. Calle Arizona

Balance

I am always seeking balance between a part time job, full time artist, running a business and all my other life that happens in between.  I am often talking with God and seeking his wisdom.  This year my desire is to live an intentional life. What is an intentional life? I got the idea from listening to Family Life Radio, Dr. Randy Carlson,  www.flr.org.   I have decided to take the challenge by working through the stubborn procrastination that lingers like a shadow, always following me like a bad habit.   I choose to be intentional about facing not-so-fun tasks…

Best in Show Ribbon!

The St Phillips Show on Sunday was beautiful.  Not only was the weather perfect but it was well attended, in a pretty venue and everyone was in high spirits.  I have always done well at this one- day show and Sunday proved to  hold up my expectations.  It was awesome.  Not only because it’s the best one-day show I have ever done but that many of my friends purposely came to see me and hang out with me.  That’s what made it special.  To be encouraged and supported is an important thing but it also took a lot of the…
