Balance

I am always seeking balance between a part time job, full time artist, running a business and all my other life that happens in between.  I am often talking with God and seeking his wisdom.  This year my desire is to live an intentional life.

What is an intentional life? I got the idea from listening to Family Life Radio, Dr. Randy Carlson,  www.flr.org.   I have decided to take the challenge by working through the stubborn procrastination that lingers like a shadow, always following me like a bad habit.   I choose to be intentional about facing not-so-fun tasks that need to be faced and worked through head on! The difference between now and other times is I have Jesus to lean on.  Proverbs 3:5,6 tells us to “trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding…”

This is not the first time I have taken an oath to myself only to give up and accept that it’s just the way I am.  So my intention is to lean on God and he will give me the strength and wisdom to work through these issues.  I believe that as long as I start my day with prayer and devotion I have fought half the battle.

My intention is to really understand how to be successful with social media, how to manage a business and create sales on line and also create or find an already existing support team of artists that are searching for the same things.

I just joined a group called 4Tucson, http://www.4tucson.com.   It is a Christian based organization who desires to make a difference in the City of Tucson through partnering with our public schools, colleges, government, businesses, arts and media. I am passionate about sharing the “good news” with others but also share how I got started in my business, what I have learned along the way and basically create or be a part of an atmosphere  that is positive and follows biblical principles.

We all have a desire to belong and to make a difference and so I would invite you and others to join in.  I am very excited about getting involved.  Let’s make Tucson a great city, together.
