Up & Coming Fall Art Shows 2012

I am so excited about this coming season.  Fall!  It’s finally here and I am busy making inventory as fast as I can.   I spent the summer building stock and all of that went into galleries: Tucson Botanical Gardens Gift Shop,  Tucson Museum of Art Gift Shop and Mas Y  Mas. (More about the galleries later),   I am  producing more art pieces and my creativity is exploding.

I have been planning my booth design, making mental notes of the items I will need to  maximize the space. I look forward to being in the atmosphere of artists ready to put a smile on their faces and sell.    To an artist,  a  sale is a validation of something they have put their heart and soul into.  Well,  at least it is to me.  Combine that with crisp cool air, the aroma of  kettle corn,  familiar faces of vendors and collectors and you have yourself a very enjoyable afternoon.

This is the schedule so far:

St. Phillips  Outdoor Art Show  One day only, Sunday, October, 21, 2012   Hrs: 9-5, Located at the corner of Cambell and River.

Tucson Museum of Art Holiday Craft Show, November 16, 17, 18. Hrs: 9-5, Located downtown.

I am also the featured artist at a book signing event October 27th at a private home on the west side of Tucson.  You are welcome to be my guest.  Please email me if you are interested.  I will give you details in an email.  Robin.chlad@gmail.com

I have one more announcement and that is I am being represented in a gallery in Tubac, Arizona called Mas Y Mas.   The owner, Linda Moore, is such a lovely person and I am proud to be in her gallery.  If you are visiting the Tucson area or expect a visitor from out-of-town take a day trip to Tubac,  tell her I sent you.  You wont regret it!

Here’s a sample of one of my ceramic plaques titled
