Rewarding
Tuesday’s mosaic class has come and gone way too fast. I am teaching a new 6 week session of clay tile mosaics to 4 inspiring and fun loving women. The class goes by so quickly that I am almost sad to see it end. And ya know what? They inspire me. After they all left tonight, I sat thinking about how these gals come to be taught and be inspired by my creations and their ideas inspire me too. It’s a win/win situation. A Big Thank You!
It’s been a week since the Tucson Open Studio Tour. And I am just starting to feel normal again. I needed the whole week just to do nothing but flop on the couch after work or go play with my grandkids or have tea with me girl friends. It aint easy working 3 jobs (technically 2 but my studio work always feels like full time plus overtime). I felt honored for those of you that came to my studio/ garden to view and purchase stuff. The Smell of Orange Blossoms
March is almost over but the smell of orange blossoms linger in the evening air. Almost every evening I take a walk with my little doggy, Pip. No more bundling up. Just grab the leash and go. Our walks are a time for me to saunter and contemplate about all the blessings in my life and to gaze at the moon and feel like everything is perfect in God’s plan. I have been very busy and overwhelmed, so just taking snippets of time to reflect fills me with gratitude. Some times I speak with God, and Pip wags his tale…

I am always seeking balance between a part time job, full time artist, running a business and all my other life that happens in between. I am often talking with God and seeking his wisdom.
