It’s Cozy Candle Season.

Now that fall has arrived, I have embraced it by lighting a Pumpkin Spice candle every morning while I pray, journal and meditate upon Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith”. It’s what gets me through the day. The harvest season is a time to give thanks daily, although I try to do this in all seasons, this particular time for me is special. Need a little inspiration? I know I do. Looking forward to the holidays has become a continuing challenge. I could list the traditions we can’t do as a community but what good would that do? Like the Grinch that Stole Christmas, I choose to be a Who in Whoville. Nobody, no thing, no lack of traditions can steal your joy without your permission. “The joy of the Lord is my strength” Nehemiah 8:10. That is what I hang onto.
