I am so excited about new things happening this year. I’m still adjusting to how business practices are changing….many are shopping on line. My beloved Stein Mart is no more. Gosh, I just loved that store. Such cute things for ladies my age. But Alas… no more.
I am old school. I like to shop in person, I like to talk on the phone. I prefer meeting in person. With the exception of a doctor appt. I love video chat for dr. appointments. But I’m not crazy about zoom.
I’m still making art the way I have always been making it. But staying engaged with people on line and off has become a challenge. Have you found that to be true?
Hence, the title of my blog. Being it’s still early in the year, I look forward to changing things up, reaching new heights…adjust, flow and grow.
Adjust
1) Currently developing a new website that is easy to maneuver, hopefully to delight the senses and keep you coming back.
2) Make free short demo video clips and full videos classes to be purchased for VIP clay club.
3) Do live updates from classes being held throughout the year.
4) Make available DIY kits for those who would love to do a mosaic without an in person class.
Flow
On top of it all I continue to make beautiful and amazing art.
This just in! You will be able to see my work at The Annual Spring Artisans Marketplace at the Tucson Museum of Art April 16-18. I can’t wait! Booth 45. Mark your calanders.
I just keep doing what I love.
Grow
Making beautiful pottery, sculpture and mosaics is my thing. I love sharing my talents and techniques and encouraging others to do what brings them joy. It brings me joy to help others achieve their goals in learning clay and also making something special for a clients home, like the one below.
I read in my devotional something that inspired me: “Walking with God is a never ending adventure–one where we never stop discovering how He’s handcrafted us in His unlimited image and purpose.” 100 Days of Believing Bigger by Marshawn Evans Daniels
We are all on a journey. I believe we all have a purpose given from our creator. It’s our job to discover it and fulfill it.
Custom Mosaic Installation titled “Glory Desert”
This is a 33″ x 30″ mosaic tile panel (close up)
I just delivered to it’s forever home in Green Valley. I love making new pieces. This one shows more of a landscape with distant mountains. Inspired by the mountains the owner looks at every afternoon as the sun sets upon them, I chose to incorporate the colorful backdrop of her view in this scene.

Valentine specials are in my shop. Free shipping on all heart shaped dishes and ornaments until February 21.

You just have to experience these workshops. Everyone thoroughly enjoys them. You get to choose plenty of adorable handmade tile by yours’ truly and you come away with a beautiful wall piece (or a table).
We still have room for 2 more at the February Mosaic Workshop, to be held outdoors on the patio of Guiseppes Italian Restaurant, 6060 N Oracle rd. Tucson, AZ

And Mosaic Workshop for March 27 is open for registration. Go here for more info and to sign up.
I also just scheduled our 1st Mosaic Table Class for the year. April 3rd. Go here for more info and to sign up.
Gallery
I also have some new tall pottery at Wildemyer Gallery and few new mosaic wall pieces. Go take a gander through one of the most dynamic art galleries in Tucson. There are so many wonderful works of art there.

Secret Garden Mosaic 12″ sq.
This charming mosaic panel would look great in an entry way or by the garden.
It’s special because it’s a secret garden where bees, butterflies and hummingbirds go among flowers, pomegranates, lupine and aloe.
