C’mon…Is It Really Fall?

Is it really fall? The calendar says so but Arizona seems to be exempt from the cooler temps with a 100 plus for the last 2 weeks.

Tucson is one hot tamale! So it keeps me indoors and focused on future projects. I am busy all month with clay building classes and mosaic workshops. My schedule is tight. In November I will be focusing on holiday online and in person sales, keeping the galleries stocked and hoping for the best season ever! I have already seen an uptick in September.

As many of us know The Harlow Art Market, Tucson Museum of Art Holiday Market and Tohono Chul Holiday Nights has been cancelled. These 3 shows have always been big for my holiday sales. But I am embracing the online season of sales. Personally, in my many years of experience most people want to touch and feel my work and meet the artist when they come to the annual art shows. I will miss that. I will miss not seeing my comrades and catching up from a long hot summer. Although I am naturally an introvert, I have always looked forward to seeing my artists friends and collectors at these events.

Currently, I am offering Mosaic Art Coasters. They are professionally laminated photos of my mosaics with a cork backing to protect furniture.

Order here.

Clay Classes:

We still have room for a few more! Sugar Skull Ornament Clay Class. This is a 2 evening class making fun wall ornaments of Sugar Skulls and Kitty Sugar Skulls. Great class for beginners. Everything is included. Starts Wednesday, October 14, 5:30-7:30. Go here for more info.

Did you know I make custom Heart Pockets with your pet? Send me a clear frontal picture of your beloved pet and I will create an adorable 3-d image of it. Like Daisy Sue. As you can see, she lost one eye due to a rattlesnake bite many years ago. She’s an overcomer! Custom orders only.
